Final Cover Reveal!
10 months ago – Wed, Sep 12, 2018 at 08:47:29 PM

Cover reveal! Now imagine all the current text in gold foil, mehehehehe.

It's exciting to nail down the colors of the cover because it will dictate how the interior pages will look. So, so thankful of all the supporters who are allowing me to push the quality of this book up as far as it can go! This is where we are at currently:

With this amount of support I'll be reaching out to a recommended book designer for a quote! I want to see if they can look over the final file I send to the printers that way all the corrections and edits are done correctly right out the door!

So excited!! AHHH! Thank you!

We've reached 19K!

It's my Birthday! AHhhh! You guys, I can't think of a better birthday gift than seeing all the support shown so far, thank youuuu!  It's the 2nd week and we've reach the first two stretch goals: Hardcover with gold foil added to the book.

Working on finalizing the cover art today so when that's wrapped up I'll be sure to share it here. Afterwards, the focus will shift to planning for the next stretch goal and seeing how I can make the interior pages more elegant.

Here is a preview of the draft lines for the front & back cover so far:

The best birthday gift is helping indie artist share their projects!
I'd like to return the gesture and let you know about my friend Russell's project,
Cthulhu is Hard to Spell: A comic anthology about Lovecraft

Talking with parents, many express how they look for books to share with their kids. It's very rewarding to work on something that's all ages and so I'm happy to share this other kid-friendly project with ATC supporters!

Next Stretch Goal : Gold Foil
10 months ago – Fri, Sep 07, 2018 at 01:44:19 PM

Current Kickstarter Status:

Going for the gold foil as the next stretch goal and I'll tell you why....you guys are such awesome supporters I need time to go over what will be really fun to add to the book! My mind is still spinning that ATC will be hardcover.

So far people have suggested adding more pages to the book with new content or a character bio page, an art book, and some enjoyed the idea of a box cover sleeve. With all the enthusiasm you make me think anything is possible!

Will stretch goals be added to the digital tier?

Any content that gets added to the physical book will definitely be added to the PDF, but I would love to hear what you'd like to see added to the digital tier. Let's make it spicy!

First Stretch Goal UNLOCKED!
10 months ago – Thu, Sep 06, 2018 at 11:05:36 PM

It's happening, all the books will become hardcover! How else shall we make this book amazing? I have a few ideas to add to the stretch goal list but what would make YOU excited?

Here are a few ideas that might be fun:

  • Gold Foil on the cover - We want to bedazzle this thing and make it shine! Tastefully, of course.
  • Slip cover box - There be dragons that might find it tasty. A box would obviously deter a dragon and protect it.

I need to run some numbers and look at a few quotes, but let me know what you think!

And THANK YOU! When the stretch goal was listed on the page, I really thought it might be asking to much. So happy you want to see ATC as a hardcover!
