Kickstarter Launch is a Success!

Oh boy! The amount of support Above the Clouds received yesterday was...I'm blown away! I thought it was going to be a slow climb but then Kickstarter Supports came around the corner saying "What's up? What are you making? I want it!"
As of this morning we are already over 9K, in percentages we have raised 70% of the funding goal... IN ONE DAY. Holy cow. Thank you so much for making this happen! For supporting ATC! I am even more determined to make this the best book I can make it!
Yesterday, I just received paper samples from a printer a friend recommended.

What's interesting about these different types of paper is how they soak up the ink and how that influences the vibrancy of the colors. With ATC, the older 80's illustrated book aesthetic was one of my influences and so it's tempting to go with the uncoated paper to help add to the look. It even has this interesting feel that I think people might like.
Also, there will be some artwork I commissioned from fellow artist I adore that will be making an appearance soon. So look out for that in a follow up post!
